Haut cuisine for (almost) bargain prices

If you want to explore the innovative high-class Polish cuisine, there’s no better place to do it than in this high-end restaurant. Get a lovely view of Warsaw from the top floor and come hungry – the restaurant serves small portions of molecular gastronomy creations, but 50 PLN will get you 5 (that’s right: five) delicious courses. Come here if you like surprises, as the menu will only list ingredients, but won’t prepare you for the form. Last time we checked, cauliflower was served as butter.

#CONCERT

Polish singer-songwriter in concert

Once upon a time, Tomek Makowiecki wanted to be the Polish Pop Idol. He took part in the TV show, gained quite a following, but did not win. Instead, he went his own way, got married (to a Polish pop idol Reni Jusis, orchestra conductor by profession) and now he’s back with a new album, “Moizm” (Myism), which just won the title “Album of the Year” in Poland. This is your chance to see him live! On Wednesday, he’ll play in one of Warsaw’s most unusual concert venues: a former swimming pool located in the former YMCA. Now converted into a bar aptly called “Basen” (The Swimming Pool), the place is a sight to see!
