If I could do only one thing in whole day it would be: hitch-hike in any direction and see how far from Warsaw I can get in a day.

Warsaw TIP: Use Warsaw’s public transportation! It is truly amazing! Get a 24-hour pass and see how cheap, safe and comfortable it is to move around the city using buses, trams, the subway or suburbian trains. This will make touring Warsaw much easier and also you’ll avoid the risk of taking a cab, which might turn out to be a tourist trap.
