Artur Majewski – a true virtuoso of the trumpet – will be performing at Pardon, To Tu this Tuesday. Artur is a member of the fabulous Mikrokolektyw duo playing experimental jazz. Rob Mazurek, Fred Anderson, Nicole Mitchell, Josh Abrams, Mike Reed, Chad Taylor are just a few musicians that he has been playing with throughout his career. His lively music will definitely impress both those who love jazz and those who have no idea about this type of music.

Missed the Planete+Doc Festival? PaństwoMiasto gives you the opportunity to see the best films shown during that prestigious festival. This week, they will present the awarded ‘Videocracy’ – a documentary film showing how Italian television impacts the country’s politics and culture, how paparazzi influence the reality we live in and, last but not least, how Silvio Berlusconi fits into that picture.

Take a walk and then – a splash!
 

Pole Mokotowskie is Warsaw’s Central Park – the park located just two subway stops south from the center is the locals’ favorite venue for dog-walking, jogging and picnicking. Take a stroll through it to admire the city’s skyline and discover old-school pubs, fountains, art. and even a trail devoted to the writer Ryszard Kapuściński, who lived nearby. It would be a shame if you made it south to Mokotów and did not take a dip in the city’s largest swimming pool located in Warszawianka aquapark! Forget about bathing caps and dreary chlorium, ozonized water of the 50 meter pool will make you feel like you’re on proper vacation! And if you are too cold to swim, Warsaw’s biggest sauna complex is just on the other side of the locker room. If you’re feeling adventurous, head for the ice room (-20 degrees Celsius) before entering a Finnish sauna (100 degrees Celsius)…

How much: free admission to the park, for the aquapark: 20 PLN per hour Mo-Fri 6:30am-5 pm, 24 PLN after, 26 PLN on weekends, open until 10 PM. For sauna zone, 30/40/45 PLN respectively
