Chopin Museum
 

If you are interested in learning more about the life and work of one of the best composers in the world, you can’t miss this modern museum. Opened only in 2010 (for the 200th anniversary of Chopin’s birth), it is an amazing journey through Frederic Chopin’s early days in Żelazowa Wola and Warsaw and his great career in Paris. Multilingual audioguides will help you follow the exhibition without getting lost. Tuesday is when you don’t pay the entrance fee!

Visit original medieval cellars!
 

Centrum Interpretacji Zabytku (the Heritage Interpretation Centre), located in original gothic cellars of Old Town houses, has just opened and is presenting an exhibition about the WW2 history of the Old Town. See shocking pictures of the destruction and amazing effort of those reconstructing it in the 1940s and 50s.

Děsi is a duo from the Czech Republic. They describe their music as a cross between ethnic and European music, something between jazz, funky, world music. Intriguing! It’s their first time in Warsaw, go, see and listen to them!
