The Summer Film Capital cycle is attracting people of all ages and interests. The concept is easy – go to one of the attractive venues when it gets dark, pray for good weather and enjoy the film! On Tuesday you will have a chance to see one of Ang Lee’s masterpieces – The Life of Pi. Yes, you may have seen the film already, but not in the middle of one of the biggest parks in Warsaw, under the stars!

Chopin for free!
 

Opened a mere 3 years ago, this tech-savvy museum located in a meticulously restored palace gives an impressive account of the life of Poland’s national composer, Frederic Chopin; from his early days in Żelazowa Wola and Warsaw to his great career in Paris. Multilingual audioguides will help you follow the exhibition without getting lost. Tuesday is when you don’t pay the entrance fee!.

MoMA Warsaw
 

In the Heart of the Country” showcases the collection of Warsaw’s newest museum, the Museum of Modern Art. Located in a former furniture store, MoMA Warsaw strives to create a most comprehensive collection of Polish contemporary art. The exhibit just opened last week. Learn why names of Andrzej Wróblewski, Wilhelm Sasnal and Mirosław Balka are worth remembering and stop by the Museum’s Moderna Cafe for quality coffee and books afterwards! As an extra, take a look at an exhibition presenting best designed houses in Poland appropriately called For Example.
