Fismoll – a future top star

Fismoll is a 19-year old singer/songwriter and guitarist whose first album At Glade is considered as one of the best debuts and at the same the greatest surprises on the Polish music scene this year. His talent, sensitivity and aesthetics is compared to those of Arvo Pärt and Olafur Arnalds. Those who had the opportunity to listen to his magical concert at this year’s Open’er Festival will definitely not miss his Warsaw concert. Those who haven’t – listen to his song – Lets Play Birds – to find out why it is worth to spend this Thursday evening at Cud nad Wisła by the river.

#MUSEUM

Łazienki – a museum that is actually a park

You should not miss one of Warsaw’s greatest attractions: Łazienki Royal Park and Residence. One of the biggest city parks in Europe hides a true pearl of Warsaw neo-classicism: Palace on the Island, a former bathing pavilion redesigned as a summer residence of the last of Polish kings. See the neoclassical summer palace of the last king of Poland, visit his theatre in the Old Orangery and don’t forget to bring bread for the coyfish and nuts for the (red) squirrels and the peacocks! The entry to all historical buildings in the park is free of charge on Thursday. And if that is not enough, wait till it gets a bit dark and walk down the Chinese lantern alley!

Where: Łazienki Królewskie (Royal Baths)

When: 9am – 8pm everyday

How much: Palace and other buildings in the park- free on Thursdays (otherwise 6 / 10 zł). Park – always free of charge.

Ben Wheatley’s black comedy ‘Sightseers’ is not exactly the British reply to Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers, but … well… people will die on the way of a British couple who plan to spend a quiet vacation driving their camper to such exciting places as the Pencil Museum. Why did they turn into Bonnie and Clyde? Find out this Thursday – when it gets dark.
