Visit Chopin!
 

Opened a mere 4 years ago, this tech-savvy museum located in a meticulously restored palace gives an impressive account of the life of Poland’s national composer, Frederic Chopin; from his early days in Żelazowa Wola and Warsaw to his great career in Paris. Multilingual audioguides will help you follow the exhibition without getting lost.

When:  Tuesday-Sunday 11:00AM to 8:00PM

How much:  Free on Sundays (70 tickets are issued for every full hour – 55 can be booked over the phone, while 15 are available on the spot). Otherwise 11 zł (ISIC card) / 13 zł (reduced) / 22 zł (normal).

Recognise fresh electronic sounds
 

Jacek Sienkiewicz is one of the most acclaimed electronic music’s promoter in Poland. He’s a dj and owner of a record label called Recognition. This evening he is going to present sounds which are not yet popular, some must-be -hits from  upcoming artists and electronic noise produced live. His guest this evening will be Marcin Wolski a dj and a music journalist, a specialist in dub-techno.

Royal castle – old and new
 

Home to rulers of Warsaw throughout the ages, destroyed during WWII and raised from the ashes in the 1970s and 80s, the Royal Castle of Warsaw opens to visitors for free every Sunday. See meticulously restored interiors from the times of the last Polish king and visit the rooms where first Polish and European constitution was proclaimed. This is going to be a great lesson of Polish history for those who prefer to spend more time indoors at this time of the year.
