Mokotów, art & music

Nowy Teatr, the New Theatre, is a project of turning an old dust cart depot in Mokotów into a thriving culture centre. Before you see all the space full of modern architecture, plan some time this Saturday to visit Instalakcje, the art./music installations festival. Among those presenting their work you’ll find names of Johannes Kreidler, Sivan Cohen Elias or Marianthi Papalexandri-Alexandri.

Latest addition to Warsaw’s rich coffee culture

Mokotów Warsaw’s most desired district by apartment seekers. Green (though not at this time of the year), full of pre-war modernist architecture and… cafes. The latest addition is simply called MOKO; its owners decided to keep their 1930s interior as they are and open up the doors to Varsovians. So, come for a grand opening coffee before making a decision to stay here for good!

#MUSIC / FOOD

Have some slow fastfood and party!

The latest fad in Warsaw are the so-called gastro-bars where except for cocktails you can expect some really good food: gourmet hamburgers, pizzas, salads or some more local specialities. One of the newest to follow the format is MoMu, a place opening to Plac Teatralny, just a few minutes walking from anywhere: the Old Town, Krakowskie Przedmieście, or the centre. This Saturday you will be able to have your mojito and hamburger listetning to tunes spinned by some of the most popular Warsaw djs: Boy Division, Kovvalsky and others.
