The Poster Museum in Wilanów is the oldest institution of this type in the world. It houses 30 thousand items which represent the history of poster art from 1892 to contemporary times and this makes it one of the world largest collections of this art form. Located in a 19th century riding school in the surroundings of the summer residence of King Jan Sobieski, the museum is a true gem for art lovers and one of the few e institutions open on Monday. Head there to see the famous Polish film posters, created by some of the best of the country’s graphic designers between 1945 and 1969. Wow!

Are you curious to find out what’s all the fuss with Polish cottage cheese about? Do you want to try regional Polish dishes and buy some quality sausage to take back home? Then this place is for you – lunch sets at 25 PLN (or less) on weekdays include soup, main dish and kompot (boiled fruit drink), while the Pascha cheesecake deserves the maximum number of Michelin stars. Polish jazz in cozy surroundings
 

Pardon, To Tu? is a fairly new, but already well-established jazz venue, organizing concerts almost on a daily basis. This Monday, visit the place to listen to saxophone player Irek Wojtczak jam with some of the best young Polish jazz musicians out there: Kamil Pater (Contemporary Noise Sextet, Dziki Jazz) on guitar, Adam Żuchowski (Andre Ochodlo, Mania Trio) on bass and Kuba Staruszkiewicz (Pink Freud, Maria Peszek, Kaszebe) on drums. A great way to fend off the oncoming winter!
