Poster Museum
 

The Poster Museum in Wilanów is the oldest institution of this type in the world. It houses 30 thousand items which represent the history of poster art from 1892 to contemporary times and this makes it one of the world largest collections of this art form. Located in a 19th century riding school in the surroundings of the summer residence of King Jan Sobieski, the museum is a true gem for art lovers. This summer, the museum is holding its 24th International Poster Bienalle featuring the finest works of world-class artists. A true must-see!

Sax, piano, bass and drums plus 4 excellent musicians and what you get is a great jazz band. They call themselves Soundcheck and have been playing together for ten years in Poland and abroad. They have developed their own unique style which is highly valued by jazz lovers. This Monday, this fabulous band will be playing in Warsaw at Pardon, To Tu.

Warsaw Uprising Museum is a Monday must-see!
 

Actually, all visitors to Warsaw should see this highly interactive impressive museum located in Wola district’s tramway power station. The 1944 Warsaw Uprising was one of the biggest acts of resistance against the Nazis in Europe during WWII and led to almost complete annihilation of the city. Tragic events of August and September of 1944 are rendered in an innovative, engaging way, taking you on an enthralling journey through the history of Varsovians’ struggle for independence. It’s also one of the very few museums in Warsaw open on Mondays.
