Transoriental Orchestra
Kayah is one of the most popular music artist in Poland. She’s a singer, a songwriter and co-owner of a record laybel, Kayax. Her latest album is a tribute paid to a very rich music culture of European Jews. Songs in Ladino and Yddish, melodies from Middle East and small Polish villages-all those different elements are parts of the Jewish heritage. The music is arranged in the fusion ethno style with instruments such as cajon, darbuka, oud, shepard’s flutes and many more. The full power and emotions from those songs can be only felt when U hear it live. The tickets for the concert were sold out so the second one that day was added- U won’t have problem with purchasing tickets for the one at 6 pm in Empik Store or at the door.

Learn the history behind the ‘63 days of glory’
The 1944 Uprising in Warsaw (that broke out on 1st August and lasted for over two months before it was ruthlessly surpressed) was one of the biggest battles of resistance against the Nazi in Europe during WWII and brought almost complete destruction of the city. The Museum tells the story of tragic events of August and September 1944 in a multimedia-based way. It’s an enthralling journey through the history of the struggle of the people of Warsaw for independence. One of the few museums in Warsaw open on Mondays!

Polish film posters
The Poster Museum in Wilanów is the oldest institution of this type in the world. It houses 30 thousand items which represent the history of poster art from 1892 to contemporary times and this makes it one of the world largest collections of this art form. Located in a 19th century riding school in the surroundings of the summer residence of King Jan Sobieski, the museum is a true gem for art lovers and one of the few e institutions open on Monday. Head there to see the famous Polish film posters, created by some of the best of the country’s graphic designers between 1945 and 1969. Wow!
