#MUSEUMS

Warsaw Uprising Museum is a Monday must-see!

Actually, all visitors to Warsaw should see this highly interactive impressive museum located in Wola district’s tramway power station, most recently featured in a TIME magazine article on Warsaw’s highlights. The 1944 Warsaw Uprising was one of the biggest acts of resistance against the Nazis in Europe during WWII and led to almost complete annihilation of the city. Tragic events of August and September of 1944 are rendered in an innovative, engaging way, taking you on an enthralling journey through the history of Varsovians’ struggle for independence. It’s also one of the very few museums in Warsaw open on Mondays.

#CONCERT

Living breathing rock’n’roll modern legend, Warsaw City Rockers style!

Warsaw City Rockers are a local DJ collective who mix from vinyls and use the inverted M (as in: MTV) as their logo. And they’ve branched out to organize concerts, too! On Monday you’ll have the opportunity to see one of the last true rock’n’roll musicians out there – Nobunny is a mysterious pantyhose-clad man in the rabbit mask whose melodic songs are just perfect singalongs until you realize what he’s singing about… Pure rock’n’roll madness straight from Arizona in an equally crazy building that is Warsaw’s Palace of Culture and Science. Confirm your attendance on the FB event site (listed below under “Details”) to get a 10 PLN discount at the door!

Where: Cafe Kulturalna in the Palace of Culture and Science
