The Fountain Park season opened!
It’s been two summer seasons since Warsaw has had this new attraction: the Multimedia Fountains park in Podzamcze, the area between the New Town and the river Wisła. Obviously, this is not sophisticated art. It’s a show for the masses but believe us: the view from the path going downhill behind the church is really amazing! Multimedia Fountain Park shows are impressive no matter if U think it’s cheesy or not. During daytime it’s a place to rest and cool down your feet in the water, in the evening the square around is crowded with people who watch the images screened on the water surface. Located between the bank of Wisła and the New Town they gather a big audience at every show. This Friday the fountains are switched on at 9pm.

A long weekend in The Royal Baths -for free
This week is a good time to visit the Łazienki Royal Park and Residence, summer getaway of King Stanisław August Poniatowski. Why? Because of the celebrations of the Constitution Day and the anniversary of joining European Union plenty of events is planned-military orchestra concert, dancers dressed in historical costumes etc. All historical buildings would be open for the visitors for free !. See the neoclassical summer palace of the last king of Poland, visit his theatre in the Old Orangery and don’t forget to bring some nuts and seeds to feed the squirrels and the peacocks!
