Green haven in central Warsaw
If you think the guys camped out in front of the Centre for Contemporary Art are a local Occupy group, you are only half-wrong. Green Jazdów is a project initiated by Thai-American artist Rirkrita Tiravanij as a place for ecology-oriented local events, including culinary workshops, farmers’ market, yoga classes and open air screenings of films on environmental issues. It is meant to be a meeting point for Varsovians from all walks of life. This Friday U can dance with the modern folklore band -Jaca Band- who play popular and unknown polkas, oberki and other traditional swirling dance melodies (concert starts at 8.30 pm) or watch bizarre David Lynch’s movie (’ Eraserhead’ at 9pm)

Multimedia fountains
One of Warsaw’s newest attractions is the Multimedia Fountains Park, just down from the New Town Sq. Ok, it’s not sophisticated art but who can resist the charm of water, lights and music? Oh, and lasers, too! Every summer season the weekend show theme changes, this year the program is called ‘Water Symphony’. The fountains park is one of the best spots in Warsaw to admire the night panorama of Warsaw, too!
