Bar in a theatre, band of actors
Mięśnie (don’t even try to pronounce it!:) stands for the muscles. They’re a band formed by actors performing in popular Warsaw theatres. Natalia Sikora, the singer, won one of the editions of ‘The Voice of Poland’, a Polish talent show. If you’re in mood for electric vocals and music that fits no categories, Mięśnie are waiting:)

Boys next door
They’re local, they’re talented and they spin music. Mono Bar starts a new series of laidback Friday parties with great promos (shot of vodka at 5 zł until midnight, anyone?:) and great house tracks. What’s more, this Friday you can have your cocktail served by some Polish celebrities as part of a fundraising event to help a theatre group of disabled children.

Art Yard Sale
Are you looking for something a bit more original than just an ‘I love Warsaw’ tee? Try the Art Yard Sale! This year the sale lasts for a month (and not just over the weekend, as in previous years) in a central location at 19 Piękna St. The organizers inform: “Art Yard Sale is designed to unite all aspects of contemporary art: graphics, illustration, painting, photography, design and fashion. The Art Yard Sale provides a unique opportunity to meet and talk with designers as well as buy works by Poland’s most talented artists – both young talent and high-calibre names in the art scene.”
