#FOOD

Top food for rock-bottom price

If you see the name Gessler written on a restaurant in Warsaw, two things are guaranteed – 1) the food is great 2) but also rather expensive. One of those restaurants is Warszawa Wschodnia (Eastern Warsaw), which blends the best traditions of old Polish cuisine with French tastes creating superb meals, and all this in an old factory building at the post-industrial Soho Factory in Praga. Here’s the good news! If you decide to each lunch there on a working day, you will only pay 20 PLN for a 3-course set, including soup, 2nd course and dessert. Plus water! And there are always to sets to choose from – regular and vegetarian! Enjoy!

#MUSEUM

All the pretty neons!

Neons are an expensive version of the billboard – some of the oldest ones have been around for decades. Sadly, they are beginning to disappear from Warsaw’s cityscape. The people behind the Neon Museum have managed to salvage historical neons from the garbage heap of history and created a unique collection (the only other museum of this kind is in Las Vegas). Visit the post-industrial Soho Factory building to see some of the most beautiful specimen!
Where: Muzeum Neonów (Neon Museum), building 55 in Soho Factory, ul.Mińska 25Map: click to open
When: 12-5 PM Wednesday-Saturday, 12-4PM on Sundays
