#FOOD

Have lunch in the Palace!

You know the Palace of Culture and Science, that Gotham-like building in the city center? Well, two of our favorite hangouts are actually INSIDE! And here’s one: it’s called Café Kulturalna and is located to the left of the main entrance from ul.Marszałkowska, right by the DRAMATYCZNY theater. Head there between 12 and 4pm to make it in time for lunch! 21 PLN gets you a meat or vegetarian soup and second course. And if you don’t make it in time, be sure to try their Burmese soup and hummus!

#ATTRACTION

The most unusual “museum”

Ever heard of Kaiserpanoramas (“fotoplastikon” in Polish)? They were devices popular at the turn of the 20th century that presented photographs in 3D. One of very few existing fotoplastikons is… (wait for it) in Warsaw! With thousands of photographs in its archives it constantly changes exhibitions. The current one features photos showing famous Polish movie stars of the 1930s proudly presenting the most glamorous and desired clothes of those times. See how much red carpet fashion has changed over the years.
