#THEATRE

Agrippina

Unique interiors of 18th century private theatre of the last Polish King will host on Tuesday 9 September George Frideric Handel’s “Agrippina”.

Modern critical opinion is that Agrippina is Handel’s first operatic masterpiece, full of freshness and musical invention which have made it one of the most popular operas of the continuing Handel revival. In the 20th century, Handelian opera began a revival which, after productions in Germany, saw Agrippina premiered in Britain and in America. In recent years performances of the work have become more common, with innovative stagings at the New York City Opera and the London Coliseum in 2007.

#CONCERT

Spill

On Tuesday 9 September famous Warsaw music club “Pardon, To Tu” invites for the concert of Spill.

Spill is a project by a German pianist, Magda Mayas and an Australian drummer, Tony Buck (The Necks). The two artists started to collaborate many years ago and now they are coming to Warsaw, to present their music to their fans here at Pardon, To Tu. Spill’s most recent release, an album titled “Fluoresce”, released in 2012 by Monotype Records, is a truly uncanny musical experiment, within which minimalist structures of drum melodies meet incessant, unique sounds created with the use of a clavinet and piano.
