#EXHIBITION

Castle for contemporary art

Why not head inside a baroque building to see quality art for free? One of Warsaw’s best known public art galleries is located inside a castle perched on the city’s picturesque escarpment of Vistula river’s former riverbank. Head there for quality contemporary art (the current exhibit “Photon” will introduce you young self-trained Polish artist Norman Leto; there is also one about contemporary Romanian art. and a retrospective of another Polish artist, Grzegorz Drozd). If quality art makes you hungry, grab some quality food at Quchnia Artystyczna (Artistic Quisine) restaurant overlooking the escarpment! Do not miss gas lanterns lining the Agrykola street right next to the Castle!
Where: Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej (Centre for Contemporary Art), ul.Jazdów 2
Map: click to open
When: open 12-7pm, closed Mondays
How much: free admission on Thursdays, 12/6 on other days

The current one features pictures from pre-war eastern Poland. An unbelievable experience
