#ART

Castle for Contemporary Art.!

Why not head inside a baroque building to see quality art for free? One of Warsaw’s best known public art galleries is located inside a castle perched on the city’s picturesque escarpment of Vistula river’s former riverbank. Head there for quality contemporary art (the current exhibit “Photon” will introduce you to young self-trained Polish artist Norman Leto; there is also „Slow Future” about economic de-growth and a retrospective of another Polish artist, Grzegorz Drozd). If quality art makes you hungry, grab some quality food at Quchnia Artystyczna (Artistic Quisine) restaurant overlooking the escarpment!
Afterwards, relax in a hammock in Green Jazdów summer space right outside the castle. And do not miss gas lanterns lining Agrykola street right next to the Castle!

Where: Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej (Centre for Contemporary Art), ul. Jazdów 2

When: open 12-7pm, closed Mondays
How much: free on Thursdays
