Warsaw TIP: for the best views of Warsaw, you don’t need to queue for the Palace of Culture’s viewing terrace; in my opinion, the most beautiful panorama can be seen from the bell tower of St. Anne’s Church – it’s cheaper, there’s no waiting line, and you can gaze at the rooftops of the Old Town for hours

Warsaw TIP: get off the beaten track and stroll along the Skarpa Warszawska (Warsaw Slope) – this linear geological structure, the remnant of the historical flow of Vistula river, forms today a huge green area spanning from the north of the Old Town to the Łazienki Park
