#CONCERT

Free Chopin concerts in the park or traditional Polonaise played by Warsaw’s most unconventional „maestro”

Don’t call 32-year old Marcin Masecki “maestro”. He hates it. Although his specialty is classical music, he puts in all his heart to throw it off its high horse and make it seem more “approachable” – which is perhaps why he opted for “polonaise”, the most traditional Polish composition form, which he transformed into something quite unique. Critics hear surfer rock and garage punk influences. Judge for yourself this Sunday at 7pm and hear Marcin play with a 10-member brass band in the amphitheater of Łazienki Royal Park! Highly recommended.
And if you cannot get a hold of the tickets, remember that the same park is also home to weekly Sunday concerts in front of the Chopin monument – free of charge, too! Concerts take place at 12pm and 4pm, more information here.
