3 concerts, 3 churches, countless experiences
This year we celebrate 70th anniversary of Warsaw Rising. Memory about the fighters was once ignored by communist regime’s propaganda, now is hailed and worshipped often by putting more accent on heroic fighters and not on simple peoples tragedy. It also seems it’s not an easy task to commemorate victims of war without using big words and actor’s poses. That’s the reason why we recommend you an interesting and unpretentious way to meet the history of 1944 Rising. Three 30min. concerts, each performance played in a different church. Each piece will deal with the drama which 70 years ago took place in those temples.In between the shows you’ll have 20 min brakes to enable you the access from one church to another and to give you some time for reflections.

Posters in the Outdoor Gallery
U.G. Sato(Japan) i Jianping He(China) represent different generations of graphics and different ways of expression. Sato was born in 1935 and he illustrates books, designs posters and books, logo’s and product packaging. He’s also a pacifist and ecological activist.Awarded for his works at many Biennale, including Warsaw International Poster Biennale in 1996. JianpingHe (born 1973)is an absolvent of Chinese Academy of Fine Arts and University of Fine Arts in Berlin. Lecturer of artististic universities in Berlin, Hangzhou and Hongkong. Warsaw’s Posters Biennale laureate in 2002, 2010 and 2012! So now when you already know their biographies it’s time to get famiiar with their works :).
