A trip to Africa

Ogoya Nengo was born in the 1930s but her music is far more lively and vital than most Warsaw hipsters. She is a true legend of Kenyan traditional music and she will be visiting Warsaw this Monday as a part of her European tour, which will definitely bring a lot of heat into this part of the world. Her songs, performed together with the Dodo Women’s Group will carry you all the way to a little village by Lake Victoria, where Ogoya was born. Feel Africa on a cloudy day in Warsaw!

”Umbrella” in German style

Their version of Rihanna’s “Umbrella” was a hit in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and Norway. The Baseballs, three talented guys from Berlin, prove that great pop hits can sound equally good (or even better) if sung in rock style of the 1950s and 1960s. This Monday they will be promoting their latest album “Game Day” in Warsaw.

A bit of Scotland in Warsaw

Glasgow-based Twin Atlantic is a band that made itself famous after releasing their first album “Free”. They started off as a punk group but with time added some rock and pop beats to their music. Remember that breathtaking moment, when Felix Baumgartner was setting the world record for skydiving and became the first person to break the sound barrier? The music millions of people could hear in the background during that jump was performed by Twin Atlantic. Expect energy, happiness and a lot of fun!
