Indie music from Warsaw!

Oliver Heim is a Warsaw resident, who used to sing, compose and play guitar in a multi-national Warsaw band Tres B. Since the band split up, he continued working as Anthony Chorale, releasing an album (“The Eternal Now”), playing at a host of festivals, including Primavera in Spain and Off in Poland. This Friday, expect to hear material from his eponymous upcoming album.
Anthony Chorale will be supported by Hannibal, a Warsaw band that debuted this year with the album “Poetry About a Point”.

#ATTRACTIONS

The most unusual „museum”

Ever heard of Kaiserpanoramas (“fotoplastikon” in Polish)? They were devices popular at the turn of the 20th century that presented photographs in 3D. One of very few existing fotoplastikons is… (wait for it) in Warsaw! With thousands of photographs in its archives it constantly changes exhibitions. The current one features photo stills from the documentary about the Warsaw Uprising. An unbelievable experience!

#PARTY

Follow the river!

Cud nad Wisłą pioneered the Vistula riverbank clubbing scene. Named after a famous victorious battle of 1920, Polish triumph over the Bolsheviks, the club often hosts parties where local DJs show off their deck-spinning skills. This Friday, head to Cud to meet Hungry Hungry Models, a DJ duo that ruled over Warsaw in 2011 and 2012. See if they still have it in them!
And if no one’s dancing at 9PM, head next door to Pomost 511 for a 9pm free open-air screening of Idol with Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Ewan McGregor and THEN come back 
Where: Cud Nad Wisłą (Miracle at Vistula River), Bulwar Flotylli Wiślanej
