Herring+vodka=BFF
Herring is one of the must-eat delicacies you need to try while you are in Poland. You will find it on our tables on Christmas eve, but also during parties, when chunks of delicious herring are served as a vodka snack. In fact, we even use herring as an excuse to drink vodka, which is explained in an old Polish saying; “because the herring needs something to swim in”. This Friday, Karmnik, a popular bar in the old town, is organizing a herring tasting event, during which you will be able to try it in 5 surprising dishes at reasonable prices. Vodka shots are a must!
