24th Poster Biennale at th Wilanów Palce
The International Poster Biennale in Warsaw (IPB), was the first open competition of this kind in the world, aiming to juxtapose the tradition of the “Polish poster school” with foreign works while at the same time intending to manifest the poster in a broad sense as a medium of artistic creation. The first IPB exhibition took place at the Zachęta National Gallery of Art in 1966. Until 1974, the Animator and Chair of the IPB Organisational Committee was Józef Mroszczak, Professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In the past fifty years, the course of IPB was disrupted twice for non-artistic reasons; the 1982 and 1992 editions were cancelled. In 1994, the event was moved to the Poster Museum in Wilanów, a branch of the National Museum in Warsaw and in 2014 Mariusz Knorowski became its curator and director.
The current edition of the Biennale is organised in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and The Association of Polish Graphic Designers, STGU.

Orange Warsaw Festival
This event doesn’t need much further explanations. Reading the line-up can easily work as an advertisement. I’ll just mention some legendary names of the artists who’ll perform this wekend in Warsaw: The Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age, The Prodigy, Outcast, Kings of Leon. Main stage gonna be situated inside of the Natoinal Stadium so You’ll be able to listen to some spectacular tunes in the spectacular surroundings.

DJ Fuzz and DJ 2 Piętro playing good oi’ rock’n’roll
Some of You avoid big gigs and prefer to listen favourite music from the records while some of You will be energized after The Pixies concerts . This event would probably suit both of You.
Both DJ’s are tireless in promoting some good rock&roll of the last 50 years…Dj Fuzz is especially fascinated by the sounds of 1960’s polish and western european garage and psychodelic bands and he makes a great use of his intrests as a guitarist/vocalist of the band callled Wild Books.Dj 2 Piętro is a keen admirer of beer & football and at the same time he has great love for alternative music. You can be pretty sure that thanks to this duo You’ll hear some rare and amazing stuff.
