#MUSEUM

Copernicus Science Center is as multimedia as a museum can get!

Copernicus was not your average priest nor scientist and a science center named after him should be at least as innovative as the man himself. And so it is! So brave the long lines (or come prepared by booking your ticket online), set aside a few hours and delve into the world of science with hundreds of exhibits giving you a hands-on experience to help you understand complex phenomena. If you still have questions, ask any of the Museum’s „explainers” to tell you more!

#DRINKING

Cozy café to drink away the winter blues

Cold after the free tour? Want to rest after a day of sightseeing or before a night of clubbing? Visit the new cafe at Bankowy square, probably the first in Warsaw to offer mulled cider. DZIK („Wild Boar”) is a cider brand made exclusively from wild Polish apples and the taste is delicious! Throw in some rum and cloves and you get a cup of warm bliss. We recommend to order lavender cookies as a side! Drop by before 4 PM to see what’s the daily lunch offer (ca. 20 zł) and what makes this place so popular.

Where:  Square 5, pl. Bankowy 5

#ATTRACTIONS

Fotoplastikon, a 100 year old 3d show

Ever heard of Kaiserpanoramas (“fotoplastikon” in Polish)? They were devices popular at the turn of the 20th century that allowed to watch photographs in 3d. One of very few existing fotoplastikons is… (wait for it) in Warsaw! With thousands of photographs in its archives it constantly changes exhibitions. The current one features pictures of Paris in 1950s and 60s. An unbelievable experience!
