Cinema under the stars
Summer Film Capital is a cycle which presents great films completely free of charge in the ambience of Warsaw parks. A good reason to visit Pole Mokotowskie, one of the biggest parks in the city just South of the city centre (Politechnika or Pole Mokotowskie metro stations) may be Woody Allen’s ‘Midnight in Paris’:)

FOOD
The best of vegan Warsaw – and a food solution to the summer heat!
Friday is traditonally a no-meat day for many Polish Catholics, which makes for a great excuse to share with you some of the city’s best veggie venues. Also, isn’t it too hot to eat meat anyway? Krowarzywa is the vegan answer to Warsaw’s new foodie trend of gourmet burgers, Veg Deli cooks vegan AND organic, while Vege Miasto is the best budget option out there! If you think you know everything about vegetarian/vegan food, you’re in for a surprise!
And a vegetarian dish that is an absolute must-try in Warsaw heat is chłodnik, or cold soup made of beetroot and tons of other healthy stuff! It’s served in virtually all Polish restaurants, too! (Vegans beware, we serve this soup with a hardboiled egg!)
As we say in Polish, „smacznego”, or may it be tasty!
