Find modern art confusing? MoMA Warsaw decided to help you understand their collection and thus organizes guided tour through its “In the Heart of the Country” collection. Learn why names of Andrzej Wróblewski, Wilhelm Sasnal and Mirosław Balka are worth remembering and stop by the Museum’s Moderna Cafe for quality coffee and books afterwards!

Isaac Singer’s Warsaw
 

This Nobel Prize winner, born in Poland is a patron for the annual Jewish Culture Festival of Warsaw. He lived in the capital for several years and he portraited narrow streets of Jewish quarter in some of his works. The programme of the event includes workshops for the kids, performances, movies and concerts. Our choice for Thursday is the concert at the riverbank performed by the crazy-klezmer-retro-cabaret-ska-pop band from Austria, Großmütterchen Hatz Salon Orkestar. If U have a skill to bilocate watch also the open-air perfomance by theatre from Wrocław, Teatr Formy, based on the Franz Kafka’s story ‘The Trial’

Two talented ladies, Hilda Hertz (vocals) and Panda Gunn (‘dreamy synths’), forming the Modernmoon duo, which creates synthetic melodies which will truly give you thrill, is performing in Warsaw this Thursday. So, close our eyes, and let the music carry you away to the dark and spooky streets of creepy cities, where laser beams and androids see every move you make. It may be the trip of your life!
