Blessing the Easter baskets

It’s Easter time and on the Saturday just before the Easter Day, people in Poland bring their baskets full of food to be blessed in churches. Some treat it symbolically and would put just a little piece of bread, eggs, sausage, horseradish (that’s typical!), salt and pepper and would decorate everything with Easter bunnies and stuff, but some will really bring the whole Sunday breakfast:) Enjoy the local tradition!

The Warsaw derby!

Polonia will play against Legia on their small stadium in Konwiktorska St. Even though Legia seems to be a much stronger team, the derby is always a different kind of match so no result would be a surprise. So far Legia won the derby 26 times with Polonia having only one victory less and 19 draws.
