Party like students do!
After long, long months of studying/drinking, studying/partying, studying/studying academic year is coming to an end which sounds like a great reason to celebrate! Every May students of the Warsaw universities organize a few-days-long Juwenalia: a festival of student culture, beer drinking and music. If you feel like immersing into it check what’s going on around the campuses and universities of Warsaw! This Friday you’d hear some of the most popular alternative pop artists and a hard funk band Łąki Łan which is the most insane, intense and party group around 🙂

Janis Joplin reinterpreted
A tribute paid to one of the most ispiring artist of all times. Kozmic Blues is the title of one of Janis Joplin’s song and the name for the project, Natu an acclaimed, young Polish singer (she enjoyed a huge commercial success with her r’n’b band, Sistars) created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Joplin’s debut. After the concert stay in the club as on the most popular Warsaw djs, Envee, is behind the decks supported by the live instruments.

Sound and light show at the fountains!
In 2011, a Fountain Park was opened right under the New Town area, on the occasion of 125th anniversary of the creation of the city’s waterworks and sewage systems. Come here in the evening to see crowds of locals and local tourist enjoying a 30-minute sound&light show entitled “The Water Symphony”.
