He’s pink, small, cute and very vigorous!

Who may that be? A baby rhinoceros of course !!! Byś, the pride of the Warsaw zoo, was born four months ago but until now it was too cold for him to leave his warm shelter. Now that spring has arrived, he is making his first public appearances and he seems to enjoy the status of a local star. He does have competition though: our latest arrivals – two young polar bears from… Nuremberg. Spend a fabulous day at the 85-year-old Warsaw! It’s just right across the river from the Old Town. And don’t miss feeding times! Here are some suggestions: piranhas: 11:00 AM, sharks (OK – we only have one shark, but still…): 12:30 PM, Byś and his family: 2:00 PM.

Warsaw from above

The fact that the snow clouds are gone for good (we hope!), creates a great opportunity to see Warsaw from a different perspective – from the panoramic terrace on 30th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science! Also, you’ll have a chance to see the hated by some and loved by others skyscraper, a generous gift from the Soviet Union and Joseph Stalin. Have a coffee, sit down and enjoy the view!
