Sarcastic view on Warsaw
You can dislike it but you cannot ignore it. Warsaw is such a city that even when it irritates people it still is very inspiring. The exhibit shows the works send for the international competition for the caricature of Warsaw. You will find here insider’s comments on the political situation but also impressions of Warsaw seen from a very distant perspective of a…Chinese artist. Some of the works are just funny, other ironic but all of them giving you the deeper understanding of the city.

The Warsaw Photoplasticon – a huge machine designed in the 19th century that shows 3D pictures – is definitely a must-see ! After all, only a few of those fascinating devices have survived until the 21st century and the one we have in Warsaw has been operating in the same place for over a 100 years!!! Till the end of August the photoplasticon is showing pictures taken during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 by reporters, who were risking their life to create evidence of the fighting city.
