We are here

As a part of Warsaw Jewish Film Festival the Polin Museum invites for a screening of Francine Zukerman’s documentary „We Are Here”. The movie examines the fledgling Jewish revival in Poland since the downfall of Communism and asks the question: “can we progress from a country containing the unmarked graves of three million Jews, to one which now celebrates life?”.

#PARTY

Festival of Polish (low-cost) Wine

Polish low-cost wine was a communist invention, aimed to deliver cheap alcoholic fruit-flavoured drinks to undemanding customers grown in People’s Republic of Poland. Cheaper than vodka, but equally effective in coloring grey communist reality, it became a popular drink of communist blue collar workers, farmers and… students. On November 5, popular music club Gniazdo Piratów will be celebrating its festival. Come and try such legendary brands as “Revenge Of The Chemist”, “Smile of The Tractor Driver” or “Dream of The Village Leader”.
