with main exhibit opening POLIN expands it’s offer – possibilities to widen your knowledge about the history of the polish Jews. In the Inormation Center You can find well trained staff along with computer data basis, library that will help you to find answers for your questions.
MACROFILM is an artistic instalation accompang Inormation Center .It is inspired by traditional archives where microfilms are common carriers of information. Turn the knob to watch presentations based on authentic pictures and archival documents!

#CONCERT

POLIN choir

Museum of the History of Polish Jews invited Varsovians to participate in an interesting project. To organize a choir wich will create a piece reering to POLIN legend. In hebrew POLIN means Poland but it also means “here you’ll rest” . Legend has it that in the middle ages when Jews suffred from pogroms arround Europe they found a card send from heavens with a sign POLIN indicating where they should search for refuge. Interpratation of the legend prepared by the choir draws from many sources- Jewish songs and texts but also from other traditions were journey through life in the search of peace is a main theme.The choir o amateurs will perform under the baton o British conductor Sean Palmer

Tango milonga

If you’re looking for an oportunity to practice dancing under conduction of proffesional dancers in a cheerful,disobliging atmosphere here’s something for you. Kasia Chmielewska i Mateusz Kwaterko who dance together for 10 years wil teach you the steps of argentinian milonga-tango. Milonga means music dedicated or dancing, not or istening but also a place dedicated for dancing tango. You’ll find information were to ind one below:
