Nabucco

On 4 December Warsaw National Theatre (in the picture) invites for famous opera “Nabucco”.

”Nabucco”, created by Giuseppe Verdi in the early years of his artistic activity, was the first step on the master’s way to his great career as a composer. It was the first masterpiece presenting such strongly perceivable creative potential and such clear mark of genius, soon to be fully unveiled. The action of “Nabucco” takes place in Biblical Times and a piece that the whole world is very well acquainted with is the famous “Va, pensiero!” – the impressive cantabile aria. The initial enthusiastic feedback ”Nabucco” met was later overshadowed by further works by Verdi. However, nowadays, the impressive, melodic opera seems to be making a wonderful come back.
