Samuel Blaser Trio at Pardon, To Tu
Spend the Monday night in our favourite jazz club in Warsaw! Pardon, To Tu is very cosy so you can experience music in a very intimate way, having musicians and their instruments right next to you. Samuel Blaser from Switzerland is said to be one of the greatest contemporary trombone players and he will be accompanied by Marc Ducret on guitar and Peter Bruun on drums. Come early to get a seat as the club fills quickly!

Buy yourself some art!
Ok, this is not going to be a low budget gift from Warsaw but if you’re looking for something really unique and special you may want to visit the Art Yard Sale pop-up shop in Plac Trzech Krzyży. Among the artists selling their works you will find Dawid Ryski, who recently illustrated ‘Alphabetics: An Aesthetically Awesome Alliterated Alphabet Anthology’ published by Gestalten. There will be also well known Polish fashion designers, original furniture and beautiful books.

The art of poster
The Poster Museum in Wilanów is the oldest institution of this type in the world. It houses 30 thousand items which represent the history of poster art from 1892 to contemporary times and this makes it one of the world largest collections of this art form. Located in a 19th century riding school in the surroundings of the summer residence of King Jan Sobieski (make a right before the gate leading to the Palace and voila, you’re there), the museum is a true gem for art lovers. A must-see!
The poster highlight of the summer months is the oldest International Poster Biennale – and be sure to check out great posters for sale at quite affordable prices by the entrance.
