The preparation for proposing is a crucial issue. You should think about the place, time, atmosphere. Proposing during trip is one of an idea. Choosing the destination which is not so romantic at first glance can help you surprising your love. Warsaw is kind of places like this. In the city you will find unique spots that create the best scenery for saying yes. We chose for you top 5 places.

Łazienki Królewskie Park

In the 18th century it used to be a countryside residence of Polish king Stanisław August Poniatowski, where he not only used to work, but also rest and invite his lovers. That’s why it’s full of romantic alleys, bridges and temples and looks lovely all the year round.

Also, from May till September you may rent a gondola sailing in the pond in front of the Palace on the Island, including a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne. You can make your engagement royal!

St. Anna Church Viewing Platform

Located just right beside the Royal Castle and the Sigismund’s Column the bell tower of St. Anna Church offers a lovely view over the Old Town and the Vistula River. It’s especially recommended in good weather and early evening hours, when the city lights are on.

If the weather conditions get worse you may choose a viewing platform of the Museum of Warsaw. The platform is on the top floor of the museum, inside the building so you’ll be protected from rain or wind. Also it’s less popular and crowded than St. Anna Church viewing platform which means it may provide you more privacy if needed.
