ORANGE WARSAW FESTIVAL
2-3 JUNE 2017, TOR WYŚCIGÓW KONNYCH SŁUŻEWIEC-HORSE RACING TRACK SLUŻEWIEC
This is a question we are very often asked : ‘is the colour of your umbrella due to being sponsored by Orange?’ The answer is NO, our only sponsors are our guests 😉 Nevertheless, we definitely recommend you to join ou the festival crowd on this sunny weekend as Kings of Leon, Imagine Dragons, Justice or Years&Years has been in top of Spotify’s search lists for a few festival seasons already and this weekend you can see them all live in Warsaw. If you would like to get to know some Polish artists see Kamp! an electro duo which has been quite a hit in European club scene for some time already or Łona and Webber – highly popular experimental hip-hop collective. The festival band allows you to use public transport for free on the date of the event. Remember that you cannot bring your own food nor drinks but the gastro zone will be well equipped with food (vege friendly as well) and booze (beer, wine and scotch). And mind you, the festival is organised in a horse racing track so for sure expect the smell of the nearby stables 😉

The venue of the festival is worth getting there at least an hour before the show to visit an amazing Neon Museum or to have a dinner in Warszawa Wschodnia, a popular restaurant in this post industrial hub.

WARSZAWA SINGERA- SINGER’S WARSAW
The Noble Prize in Literature winner, Isaack Singer was a Polish Jew, who captured the world that perished in World War II. Singer’s Warsaw Festival is an initiative by the Shalom Foundation, the aim of which is to restore, if but for a few days, the atmosphere of the pre-war Warsaw. It’s intended to show the Yiddish culture, its excellent literature and heritage. There is some kitch in it’s decaration but on the other hand it brings people together to celebrate Jewish culture of past and present in the area of the city that used to be noisy, crowded and full of life. Vodeville ‘one man orchestra’ Daniel Kahn, klezmer Kroke and world class cantors will perform this year. Check the detailed programme as you may attend language or culinary workshop, go for an unusual tour or attend an awesome afterparty with musicians of Yiddish folkpunk bands (sic!)
