EXPLORE HISTORICAL INTERIORS
Follow the guide down the maze of medieval basements, picturesque backyards, wooden staircases, vaulted corridors and ornamented apartments of the eight bourgeois houses forming the famous DEKERT WALL – the oldest and the best preserved part of the Warsaw Old Town. The awe-inspiring interiors, in big part original, are a must-see for anybody visiting Warsaw.
DISCOVER UNIQUE ARTEFACTS
Warsaw suffered numerous fires, invasions, occupations and large-scale destructions. Yet, more than 10 thousand unique objects, testimony of its turbulent 700-hundred-year-long history, can be today seen in the award-winning collection of the Museum of Warsaw. We selected 50 most interesting artefacts, ranging from 10-meter-deep mediaeval well to the concentration camp uniform and enriched them with our stories (often family–rooted), which combine both the history and present-day experience.
ENJOY VARIETY OF TOPICS
It’s not going to be boring, we promise! We will be talking about mediaeval dungeons and modern skyscrapers, about alchemy and pipe smoking, about kings and beggars, about medieval cuisine and 19th drinking chocolate, about communist regime and Nazi-German occupation.
UNLOCK THE MOST PICTORESQUE VIEWING TERRACE
The chery on the cake – the tour includes a visit to the most charming Warsaw viewing terrace situated in the wooden attic of the 17th century bourgeois house.
