Touristic highlights of pre-war Poland
 

In 1936 Zofia Chomętowska, one of the most innovative and talented Polish photographers, won the competition announced by the Departament of Tourism in Ministry for Communication. She was hired to prepare a set of promotional pictures presenting the most interesting places in Poland as a part of campaing with the aim to encourage people to travel more and the create a positive image of the developing country. See Poland through her eyes, watch those nostalgic, humorous and inspiring images,  and maybe it will make U wish to visit some of the photographed places?

See and hear  the weirdos
 

Pardon To Tu is a jazz/alternative/artistic club with a laid-back atmosphere which has gained it a lot of devoted regulars. Their program is consistent, original and interesting. This Tuseday evening they screen one of the most important movies of the German expressionism era, Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari from 1920. The music for this silent movie will be played live by four tappers, using double bass, violin and modular synth. Strange sounds wil suit the strange creatures portraitd on the screen.

Warm yourself up with a hot African dance!
 

Kizomba is a sensual dance originating from Angola, which successfully blends traditional African dances and with Dominican meringue and even Argentine tango. If you have no idea how to impress your (existing or potential) partner on the dance floor this carnival, spend Tuesday night in the Skwer club, where you will not only have the opportunity to see people dance Kizomba, but you can also master the basic steps with the help of professional dance instructors and make new friends. Who knows what may happen next…?
