#DRINKING& PARTY

The eagle nests’ trail

If you’re expecting a bird-lover’s paradise, you’re in for a surprise – the eagle nests’ trail actually refers to a host of bars that used to line the left bank of the Vistula river. Most of these old-school beer-serving venues shut down, but the tradition lives on. Here is Vistula bank’s cream of the crop – the newest 511 km, with fresh grilled food a a great viewing terrace, the most popular veterans BarKa (the BarGe) and Cud Nad Wisłą („the Miracle at Vistula river”), which often double as concert and party venues (be on the lookout for our recommendations in the upcoming days!) For us, the winner is clear: tucked between two bridges and overlooking the National Stadium, Barka boasts probably the best night view of Warsaw.
