Witold Lutosławski is considered one of most important Polish composers. He was a pianist and a conductor, too. As part of the Lutosławski International Cello Competition, Pardon, To Tu invites you to take part in an unusual concert. Osaka Vacuum is a trio playing improvised music for saxophone, cello and percussion. The musicians involved are some of the most interesting and active on the Improvised music scene.

Frédéric Chopin was born… well, what is sure is that it was 203 years ago but the precise date is unclear it was either on 22 February (as the composer’s family claimed) or 1 March (according to documents). You can’t imagine a better situation for the celebration-loving Poles! In order not to make any of the dates more important, we celebrate the whole week long! Don’t miss this week’s special concerts! Warsaw Rising Museum
 

The 1944 Warsaw Uprising was one of the biggest acts of resistance against the Nazis in Europe during WWII and led to almost complete annihilation of the city. This interactive Museum tells the story of tragic events of August and Spetember of 1944 in an innovative way, taking you on an enthralling journey through the history of Warsovians’ struggle for independence. It’s also one of the very few museums in Warsaw open on Mondays. What’s more, on this particular day, it’s free of charge.
