Fishy Warsaw Carnival
Warsaw’s original, true atmosphere is often connected to suspicious lads offering you a round of 3 cards game (obviously to rip you off!) and is best summed up with the famous quote from a traditional song: you want to mess around with us [the Varsovians], you better have your coffin ready! Catchy, eh?:) The carnival is coming to an end, time for a proper Warsaw party! Szemrany Karnawał is your opportunity to party old-Warsaw-style. You will meet folks wearing tradional local clothes, bands playing pre-war hits, a cabaret show, there will be competitions, screenings of films and a jam session. Oh, and on top of that all, classes in vodka drinking 1920s-style:) Coffins sold on spot, if necessary:)

The Stork has landed!
A stork, an eagle… In Poland it’s no big difference, both are believed to be our ‘national bird’. It’s probably only because of its more dignified PR it is the eagle that made it to become Poland’s coat of arms. If you keep wondering what this whole ornithological intro has to do with drinking, here we go: Bocian (the Stork) is the name of new bartender at Karmnik, our favourite Old Town watering hole you may know from our tours. And this Friday is his first official night on duty! So if you’re looking for great, unconventional cocktails served by top-class professionals, look no further! Just to let you know, Bocian’s transfer to Karmnik is to Warsaw’s bar scene what Lewandowski moving from BVB to Bayern was for Bundesliga:)

Do the D.A.N.C.E.
Mazowiecka is Warsaw’s party mecca. Clubs every couple of meters on the distance of roughly 100m is a guarantee that everybody finds something to suit their music tastes. From high-heels’n’shirts venues to more relaxed bars, it’s a place to be if you’re planning on rubbing off the soles of your dancing shoes. What we suggest for this Friday is the Colors of The Nite party: from rock’n’roll anthems to rap to mashups to fresh electronic gems. Don’t come before midnight and don’t leave before the sunrise!
