#CAFE

Latest addition to Warsaw’s rich coffee culture

Mokotów is Warsaw’s most desired district by apartment seekers. Green (though not at this time of the year), full of pre-war modernist architecture and… cafes. The latest addition is simply called MOKO; its owners decided to keep their 1930s interior as they are and open up the doors to Varsovians. So, come for a grand opening coffee before making a decision to stay here for good!

Where: Moko cafe, ul. Malczewskiego 6

Map: https://goo.gl/maps/9S3Dc

When: 9AM-7PM

How much: ca.10 PLN for a coffee

Take a splash!

It would be a shame if you made it south to Mokotów and did not take a dip in the city’s largest swimming pool located in Warszawianka aquapark! Forget about bathing caps and dreary chlorium, ozonized water of the 50 meter pool will make you feel like you’re on proper vacation! And if you are too cold to swim, Warsaw’s biggest sauna complex is just on the other side of the locker room. If you’re feeling adventurous, head for the ice room (-20 degrees Celsius) before entering a Finnish sauna (100 degrees Celsius)…

Where: Wodny Park Warszawianka, ul. Dominika Merliniego 4

Map: https://goo.gl/maps/9S3Dc

When: 6:30 am-10PM

How much: 20 PLN per hour Mo-Fri 6:30am-5 pm, 24 PLN after, 26 PLN on weekends, open until 10 PM. For sauna zone, 30/40/45 PLN respectively

#PARTY

Do it gangnam style!

If Seoul residents from the posh Gangnam district visited Warsaw, they would definitely head for this place! In communism, Mysia 3 was the adress for the system’s most ominous institution; the censor’s office. More recently, the building has been taken over by a host of boutiques and designer shops. And this Friday you are invited to its very top to celebrate the 6th birthday of a two-man booking agency known as King of Kong, giving you an opportunity to see a live set by two Spanish brothers from Kyodai and some of Warsaw’s best DJs in action (Artur8, Boy Division, Bartek Michalec)

Where: Mysia 3

Map: https://goo.gl/maps/DwvWV

When: 10PM

How much: 15/20 PLN at the door
