DISCOMANIA
Have you ever heard of Disco Polo? It’s Polish disco at its best (or worst). This ‘genre’ appeared in the 1980s and was inspired by Italo Disco, which was locally blended with the songs Poles sing during weddings, namesdays, birthdays etc. and the unforgettable sounds of keyboards. Although we often talk of how much we dislike disco polo, whenever that kind of music is played during parties it turns out we know all the songs and have more fun than ever. Because disco polo is party-inspiring, whether you like this type of music or not. Want to try? Visit Tygmont on Tuedsay evening.
