A chain of candles and flowers around the ghetto

If you haven’t had a chance to participate in any of the events commemorating the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, join the citizens of Warsaw on Sunday evening to form a human chain along the borders of the ghetto. You can bring flowers and candles, but what matters the most is that you are there – paying tribute to thousands of heroes who decided to fight back rather than die in Nazi death camps.

Party through the marathon!

How many times have you promised yourself that ‘one day’ you’ll run a marathon? Let’s get real, this will never happen. But you can still participate in the Warsaw Orlen Marathon without getting tired (by the way, this may turn out to be inevitable – the event will block the city for most of the day anyway)!!!! And you can have a lot of fun at the same time! All you have to do is find one of the fan dance zones. Rock, folk, hip-hop, rock, reggae/jazz – you pick what music suits you best! Note: the first concert starts at 9:30 AM!
