Eric Shoves Them In His Pockets

Last year they’ve released their debut mini album, this autumn their full-length cd will be published by Thin Man Records, one of the most interesting Polish labels promoting alternative music. They say they didn’t want to be a rock band but, in a way, they are. They wanted to write sad songs, but they write happy ones. It may be hard to guess what to expect from their music so… let’s listen!

Some more rock music?

The Sunlit Earth come from northeast Poland, from the coldest town in the country, as they claim (there are a few more pretendents). If you want to compare, think The Strokes or Velvet Underground. And the venue they will play at tomorrow is just off Krakowskie Przedmieście!

Traditional Polish Pottery – and cheaper than usual, too!

You know a Bolesławiec pot when you see one – the trademark blue&white mix has made them world-famous, but head to their flagship store in Warsaw (once you brace the subway construction site obstructions) to see full color palette. Unique, stylish yet quaint and just plain pretty – we think they make for great Polish souvenir.

Where:  Bolesławiec pottery store, ul. Prosta 2/14
