Visit astounding Medieval Art Gallery in National Museum of Warsaw, for free!

The National Museum in Warsaw’s collection of Medieval art, the richest and most diverse of its kind in Poland, after long refurbishment, is once again open to visitors in a completely new and unique format. Famous works such as the Beautiful Madonna from Wrocław, the Grudziądz Polyptych, the Annunciation with the Unicorn Polyptych, the Triptych with the Legend of Saint Stanislaus the Bishop and the monumental altarpiece from Pruszcz Gdański are presented in a modern arrangement specifically designed to resonate with the modern viewer.

Birthday party

On 2 December come to the other side of the Vistula River in Warsaw to take part in unique birthday party – two polar bears from Warsaw zoo will be celebrating their 4th birthday. The birthday cake will be served (to the bears;) at noon so be punctual!

#CONCERT

My Romania

On 2 December Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio Of Polish Radio will be hosting a concert ‘România mea’.

Photographs cycle titled “România mea” (My Romania) by Vlad Dumitrescu has inspired three composers – performers to write music. The photographs are an inherent part of the score, during the concert the musicians read subsequent imeges in their own way which are shown to the audience at the same time.

The studio is located in the radio-television complex at. Jana Pawła Woronicza 17 street. Inaugurated in 1991, it ranks among Poland’s best concert halls in acoustic terms, and is the best recording studio in this part of Europe.
